Forward.
One of a kind.
Beth Mead came through the Sunderland academy at fourteen, announcing herself early with a WSL Golden Boot before earning a move to Arsenal in 2017. In North London, she evolved into the focal point of one of the league's most dangerous attacks — a forward defined as much by her playmaking as her finishing.
A creator at heart, Mead combines elite delivery with exceptional game IQ, consistently dictating tempo and unlocking defences. Her 2021–22 season redefined what wide players could deliver in the English game: WSL Golden Boot, record-breaking assist numbers, and a decisive role in England's Euro 2022 triumph, where she was named Player of the Tournament.
An ACL injury in November 2022 halted her momentum. The response didn't. Mead returned with the same intelligence, intensity and quality — continuing to shape games as one of the WSL's most influential forwards.

Lioness.
Record-breaker.
Mead made her senior England debut in 2018 and rapidly established herself as one of the most decisive attackers in the international game. At Euro 2022, she delivered a tournament for the ages — six goals, five assists, Golden Boot, Player of the Tournament — driving England to their first-ever major women's trophy on home soil at Wembley.
Her international career was interrupted by the ACL injury sustained in November 2022, ruling her out of the 2023 World Cup. She returned to the England squad in November 2023, and at Euro 2025 in Switzerland helped the Lionesses successfully defend their title — becoming a back-to-back European champion.
Mead has represented England at youth level from U-15 upwards, and her senior record of 39 goals in 78 caps places her among the most prolific Lionesses of all time.
